Prepositions of Time
  • On – for dates and days 
on Monday , on Christmas , on 1 January

  • At – for an exact time
at noon  , at bedtime , at night , at 6 o’clock

  • In – for times of the day , long  periods  and seasons 
in the morning ,in May ,in winter ,in the twentieth century

A.Complete  these  sentences  with  the  right  preposition.
1. The shop is closed on Sundays.
2. I looked for my lost bag for two hours , but I could not find it.
3. The fair lasted for two weeks.
4. The noisy neighbours were playing music all at the night. 
5. I came home late in the evening.
